Happy Birthday to ME!

This is as close as you'll get to seeing a picture of my crusty old face in the morning. Savor it.

In my family, we all get up in the morning and go sing happy birthday to the birthday boy/girl. We usually open presents right there in bed, but I refuse to let my picture be taken without at least a little bit of 'paint' on my face. Once I was presentable, I sat down to finally open my present from Aunt Cindy (she sent it before Penny's birthday, so it was quite hard for me to just wait my turn). It was a cute Betty Boop watch! Thanks Aunt Cindy!
My in-laws gave me (among other things) some movie passes. So we went and saw Iron Man. Poor Jason only saw about half of it because Sam was a stinker butt. He missed out on a good movie. By the way-- if you've seen Iron Man or are going to see it-- there's something after the credits, so be sure to stick around. (If you've already seen it and missed it, it's just a couple minutes that basically let you know there will be a second movie.)
So that was my 29th birthday. BUT-- let's go back 10 years: just a couple days before my 19th birthday Jason proposed to me. He had planned on proposing on my birthday, but once Jason decides to do something, he does it. So I spent my 19th birthday here in Australia, with a cute fiance. Now I spent my 29th birthday here in Australia, with my three sweet kids and my wonderful husband. Farewell to 28-- I never liked that number anyway.
