I came bearing gifts. Jason got a Dr. Pepper-- which is his all time favorite, and they don't have it here. I got it at a specialty store and it cost $2.80. Thomas got a gun and a Sydney snowglobe. Penny got a ton of stuff-- it's so easy to buy girl things. She got a poodle head purse, necklace, hair things, kitty cat, and fairy set. Sam got a gun and a xylophone. Then the whole family got to scarf down a dozen Krispy Kreme doughnuts. It cost $15.00 but was worth it. A little taste of home.
Daddy time
Daddy took the kids on a hike in the Binna Burra rain forest while I was gone. Unfortunately the batteries in the camera died after just a couple shots. But it still looks like they had fun. Their hike was just over a kilometer, and Thomas and Penny did it by themselves. As you can see, Sam was in the lap of luxury.

ok, that pic of Jason with the doughnut looks downright naughty! ha ha. Allison, you sure know how to get him excited!
sam looks absolutely adorable in his picture with the gun. He's such a blondie! So cute! We miss him! Well, and the rest of you too, I guess...
