p.s. I know that Sam is too old to have a pacifier, but he had a virus when I took this. He would just whine and whine unless I stuck his 'plug' in.

Dragon Fruit
We had seen a Daniel Cook where he was tasting different fruit. He said his favorite was the dragon fruit, so I thought we'd give it a go. It looked like it could leave some nasty stains, so I wouldn't let the kids touch it. My fingers were red for at least a day. But it was good. Not really good, but it was good. It seemed like a combination of a fig and a kiwi. It tasted like a fig, but had all those seeds in it like a kiwi. Anyway, I had seen it at the grocery store for $15 a kilo (2.2 pounds)-- but I got this at a fruit market for $3. I'd be interested to know how much they are in the land of the free...
