Last time we went to O'Reilly's, I don't know what we were thinking because it was the Easter long weekend, so it was super crowded. This time was much better. We love coming here to see and feed the birds. They're everywhere. They're not dumb, they know where the food is.

So in these pictures you'll mostly see Crimson Rosellas-- the red birds. There's also a picture of me with a male and female King Parrot. See how close I got a Rosella to my face? It was so cool.

We came prepared with bird seed so we wouldn't have to spend a fortune on a tiny sack. And yet, you can still see Sam in one of the pictures begging a lady for more seeds. And that dang kid-- the whole time we were there we were telling him to stop doing whatever he was doing: don't touch the bird poop, don't hit the birds or chase them, don't eat the seeds... it goes on and on.

In one picture you can see Penny putting seeds in her hair so a bird would land on her head. Jason got one on his hat, Thomas got a couple on his head, and so did I. I got a video of a bird landing on Penny's head. They wouldn't go near Sam-- he kept scaring them off by acting like a monster.

You could be the "Bird Whisperer" or the "Bird Lady" in that one shot of you with the fouls.
