Birthday Girl

I love that picture of Penny first thing in the morning. She was so excited, even that early. Somewhere along the line, I think it was in Texas for Thomas, we started putting all the birthday presents in a laundry basket. It looks full, but we put some balls in the bottom that were for her party. But she got some pretty cool presents: a blue daddy stuffed pony from Thomas and Sam to go with her pink mummy stuffed pony from Nan, a princess flashlight with gem lights from Daddy (she wanted a flashlight like Daddy), and a My Little Pony house from mummy. And she got a whole bunch of stuff from Mamaw: 3 pairs of shoes (Penny LOVES shoes), a magnifying glass/compass/candy holding flashlight (ya, it's cool), and some fun scented puffy paint (that she almost used all up that same day!). Not to mention a cool giraffe card that's on her wall now. And Nan got her a birthday sign that should be on her wall, but she carries it around everywhere instead. She's a pretty lucky girl to get so many great things. And she still got more presents from her friends! Lucky!
Penny chose french toast for breakfast, grilled cheese sandwiches for lunch, and spaghetti for dinner (I make the best! It's a shortcut version of my Dad's famous spaghetti). After dinner and showers, we went outside for some birthday sparklers. And there's no way she'd get out of her birthday spankings!
***Check out Sam's face in the first picture: he's such a ham! I wonder where he gets it from?........see bottom picture for answer.
