The Puzzle

I told myself I'd do it-
I told myself to try.
I thought I could be patient,
But we all know that's a lie.
I just don't have it in me,
I'm not that type of girl.
Patience comes to others
But it's nowhere in my world.
It took about an hour
To do the simplest bit,
And then I think my brain just snapped
And had itself a fit.
I just don't have it in me
To sit and stare and stare.
To some it may be fun
But to me it's a nightmare.
All those little pieces
Wanting to be 'one'.
Problem is, with me in charge,
That never will get done.
So I'll send it on to Callie-
To see it she'll be glad.
She has a lot of patience,
She got it from her Dad.
So come on sis, let's see your stuff-
Let's see what you can do.
I'm sure it'll be over and done
Before your day is through.

Okay - You might not be able to do a puzzle, but you sure can write a poem!! I loved it! At first I thought you stole it off the internet because it was so good, then I saw how personalized it was and KNEW you wrote it!! That's a great talent. I used to write poems all the time when I was younger, but haven't done it in a while. I'm impressed.

Thanks for commenting on our blog! I have looked at yours a couple times to keep up with the happenings! I think it's just the few of us that you already know have blogs--we need to get everyone else on the bandwagon! Take care--
